As Indigenous People, we take great pride in and are empowered by our art; it is an engrained part of our lifestyle and spiritual beliefs, and valuable gifts to be preserved, honored and passed down to the next generations.

 

 

Indigenous World Selects works diligently to ensure that all items sold are Authentic*, allowing artists and producers to protect their work and ensure financial benefit to Indigenous communities.

All items are categorized into the following levels** of Authenticity:

3 Feathers (100% Indigenous): 

• products are designed, made and sold by an Indigenous individual or organization. 

2 Feathers: 

• products are designed and sold by, but not made (manufactured) by an Indigenous individual or organization.

1 Feather:  

• products are designed by an Indigenous individual in which they are fairly compensated for design (often in form of royalties).
